The Mother of Pentacles is cautious, dedicated, self-sufficient, and wise. This card symbolizes a self-made, intelligent, and caring person; one who wishes to pass on what they have learned. Basically, who I want to be when I grow up. Pride in what you have learned and how far you have come doesn’t mean you’ve learned everything and can’t go farther. These people know that and relish new experiences. They also know true wealth is happiness, love, and support, not spending like the world is ending tomorrow.
Reversed is the opposite of an admirable person. Someone who is greedy, self-centered, and envious of other’s success. (Side Note: Jealously is an irrational fear that someone will take what you have. Envy is wanting to take something from someone else because you feel that they don’t deserve it and you do. The two are often confused, and both are bad, but jealousy is outwardly focused and envy is inwardly focused.) Here’s the funny thing with this: its ultimately an impediment to you and your long-term goals. If you’re sitting there, simmering in envy and greed, that is pretty much your only focus. So, not only are you cutting out people who might help you achieve those goals, you’re also hurting yourself.
As always, thanks for reading and let me know what you think in the comments. Bye!
