It is not weakness to acknowledge your mistakes and your failures. Quite the opposite, actually. There is strength in self-awareness and in honesty. The weakness comes when the refusal to admit that you were wrong, that you ever could be wrong, results in staying in a situation that is harmful to you. The Eight of Cups is not to be taken lightly. It is a card imploring you to leave whatever is hurting you and leaving you weak. It doesn't even have to be another person that is doing this to you, you could be doing this to yourself. Staying in what you know, all while it's making you miserable, is what can cause you to pull this card. You need to find your bravery, find your strength, and discover what gives you purpose. Don't give into fear.
Now, this particular card is unusual. Both upright and downturned ask the same thing of you, though the work you'll have to put in is different. Upright, in your heart of hearts, you know what is missing in your life and the changes you need to make. Downturned is like being dropped in a foreign place without a map. There's nothing there to guide you, you don't know what you want or where you're going, but you can't stay there. You have to move forward. Remember, nothing is worthwhile without earning it.
As always, thanks for reading and let me know what you think in the comments. Bye!
