The Nine of Swords indicates entrapment. As I've written before, people only have as much power over you as you give them. As Swords are the mind, all of this, quite literally, takes place in your mind. Take this from someone who seemingly spends her time thinking up new and creative excuses to get in her own way. Its a cycle I think we're all familiar with: the rock sits at the base of the hill, you think you should move the rock, you push it up the hill with all your might, and you watch it roll back down. Eventually, you plop your ass down on the rock with no intention of moving it ever again, because what did that get you before? Unfortunately, nothing can change this pattern until you decide to change it, and moving from comfortable, no matter how miserable, surroundings is difficult. If someone tells you it isn't, they either haven't experienced enough to truly understand or they lack spindle neurons. Possibly both.
Reversed, you have already made it to the point where you feel ready to move on from your worst tendencies, your unkindness towards yourself. It's time to sink or swim. Floating isn't a way to avoid either, it's just a slight delay until you inevitably sink. You know that though. It requires bravery, but you probably already know that too. To me, bravery is continuing on despite your fears, not actions based on an absence of them. When you fear nothing, you are risking and gaining nothing. But now, you have so much to gain.
Anyways, thanks for reading and let me know what you think in the comments. Bye!
